Our brand name, Kaleia Beauté, draws inspiration from this concept. Kaleia stems from the combination of three Greek words: kali (meaning good), telia (meaning perfect), and ora (meaning time). It serves as a reminder that there's no better time than the present, this instant, to commence whatever you've been putting off, whether it's working towards your goals or creating a self-care routine. The "perfect" time is now.

Before I introduce myself, I want to express my appreciation for your interest in my brand.

My name is Emmie, and I'm the founder of Kaleia Beauté. Approximately five years ago, I decided to get eyelash extensions and quickly fell in love with how they looked. Unfortunately, after a refill appointment, I had an allergic reaction to the extensions and developed an eye infection. The next day, I woke up with extreme itchiness and swollen eyes that were closed shut. I had to use a warm compress and tug on my upper and lower eyelids to open my eyes again. I was able to schedule an appointment for the day after to remove the extensions, but the swelling lingered for at least another week and a half.

After this experience, I was left with short, damaged, sparse lashes. I wanted to find a way to nourish them back to health. I started searching for ways to do so, and that's how I discovered the world of eyelash serums. I ordered my first eyelash serum, then a second one because the first one didn't work, followed by a third one. None of them gave me any results. I was frustrated with finding nothing that worked, so I came up with the idea of creating my own eyelash serum. I conducted extensive research and took the time to learn all I needed about lashes, down to the smallest detail. After my experience with an eye infection, I wanted to keep the ingredients natural and plant-based and be transparent about what's in my serum.

After a year of collecting the most effective ingredients and consistently using my serum on myself for at least three months, I was thrilled with the difference I saw in my lashes. Within a few weeks, my lashes had become revitalized, thicker, fuller, and much longer. This inspired me to share my creation with the world and those who, like me, have suffered from damaged lashes. I noticed that most brands focus on trends to fit in with the rest of the world. This further motivated me to build a unique and distinctive brand. Eventually, with endless hard work, Kaleia Beauté came to life.
